Accessibility statement

We work extensively to make our organisation and website accessible to people with disabilities, promoting equal rights and transparency. We invest substantial resources in accessibility to enable everyone, and people with disabilities in particular, to browse the website. Our guiding principle is human dignity and liberty: equal rights and equal worth are a cornerstone of Israeli society.

What is an accessible website?

An accessible website enables people with disabilities to browse with the same efficiency and enjoyment as other users, using their system's capabilities and assistive accessibility technologies.

Website accessibility adjustments

Accessibility adjustments were made in accordance with Section C, Internet Services, of the Equal Rights for Persons with Disabilities (Service Accessibility Adjustments) Regulations, 2013, and Israeli Standard 5568, based on WCAG 2.0. The website was made accessible to level AA, subject to the changes and adaptations in the Israeli standard.

The website includes an accessibility plugin that assists users with disabilities according to the global WCAG, EAA and ADA standards. The application aims to meet the strictest requirements of the World Wide Web Consortium's (W3C) Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 2.1 (WCAG 2.1), level AA. Following these guidelines helps us make the website accessible to people who are blind or have motor, visual or cognitive impairments, among others.

The application uses a range of technologies designed to make the website as accessible as possible. We have enabled an accessibility interface allowing people with specific disabilities to adjust the website's interface to their personal needs. The application operates on Shopify websites and is built using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP and MySQL.

Accessibility application options

Click the accessibility icon on any page to open the accessibility interface. It includes the following options:

  • Contrast: adjust the website's contrast.
  • Font size: adjust text size.
  • Highlight links: make links more prominent.
  • Pointer: use a larger mouse pointer for navigation.
  • Stop animations: stop animations, including video and CSS animations.
